Well, the images that we snap in our heads are often more stunning in a memory than on paper, especially when the shots are taken while doing something as amazing as hot air ballooning!

Thank you so much for sharing Mr. Rondeau! :)

Re: Walking in Marathoners’ Shoes

I remember an anecdote with this CAMERA in 1999.
My wife and I had received a certificate for Christmas for a Hot Air Balloon trip in the Ottawa region. When the time came I was so nervous I almost cancelled our trip but we finally went and it was a beautiful experience. The next day I opened my camera and there was NO film in it. I then realized why I had managed to take 26 pictures with a 24 roll of film.

Re: Walking in Marathoners’ Shoes

Wow Angie, you did a great job of these. I adore your K1000!! It sits right by the door all set for an impromptu outing (no joke - that's its permanent home). The great tragedy of 2010 was caused by 100% human error. Actually in a very special way, you've made me a better "photographer" :)

Thank you for all the wonderful comments guys!
We can print any of the print sizes from a 120 roll of film. Keep in mind that the camera determines the negative size - they vary from 6x4.5 to 6X6 to 6X7 and even larger. Depending on the size we either print in house or ship to our outlab.

We send 120 and 220 negatives to our outlab for development. 120 Black and White or Color Film developing is $5.99. 220 Black and White or Color Film developing is $9.99. 4x4 or 4x6 prints are $1.18 each and are printed at our London Drugs location at 41st & Victoria. Larger prints are developed at our outlab which tend to be slightly more expensive.

Let me know if you need any other info.

I've picked up a medium format camera but don't know where to go to get my 120mm films developed and printed. I've stumbled upon this page in my search.

You mentioned that London Drugs still processes and prints 120 films, is that still true? If so, would it be a square print (I didn't see any square print on their website), and would you happen to know how much it would cost?

Re: 12×12 Pivot Collection & Tweet Map Go Live!

fyi - when I click on either the 12 x 12 tweet map or the link, it looks like I'm going to the web root within the iis7 web services on your server, but there is no html set up there. The url I go to is:

http://map.vancouverphotomarat...

as indicated, but I'm just getting the IS7 logo with the various languages encircling it.

Re: 12 Hours in 44 Seconds

Unbelievably cool!

Re: Photos, Rain & Coffee – A True Vancouver Day

Wow, "much easier"?
